SOLUTION: Vitamin Injections

Vitamin B12 Injection

This vitamin is required for the development of the central nervous system.  Deficiencies can lead to numbness and tingling of the hands and feet. Low levels of b12 can cause low white and red blood cell counts, fatigue, palpitations, pale skin, dementia, weight changes, infertility and depression.  It can lead to spinal defects, developmental delay, failure to thrive, and anemia in babies of pregnant women.  Vitamin B12 is a cofactor for methionine synthase, so it is typically given with our Lipo MIC shot for better results.

Vitamin D Injection

Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin that can be taken orally or given as a shot in the the muscle; it cannot be given intravenously.  It can be produced in the body from exposure to sunlight, but living in Chicago, we can go many days without having sunlight.  Vitamin D is necessary for bone growth and can protect from osteoporosis.  It reduces inflammation, is helpful for neuromuscular and immune function, aids glucose metabolism and can help with weight loss.  Studies found that Vitamin D supplementation can reduce cancer deaths, cardiovascular risk, and depression.
